The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 mega auction was held on November 27 in New Delhi, where 67 players were signed by the five franchises.
Delhi Capitals headed to the mega auction with five retained players. Among the side’s major picks in the auction were South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt, West Indies all-rounder Chinelle Henry and India star Sneh Rana.
Though the franchise is yet to announce its captain, co-owner Parth Jindal on Thursday stated that the side will go with an Indian leader in the new season.
