Ramadoss has filed complaint against Anbumani with Delhi Police: G.K. Mani

Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) leader G.K. Mani on Saturday said party founder S. Ramadoss had filed a compliant with the Delhi Police, alleging that his estranged son Anbumani Ramadoss had produced fake documents to the Election Commission of India (EC), which had recognised Dr. Anbumani as party president.

“This is a fraudulent action by the EC, and it is betrayal,” Mr. Mani, a supporter of Dr. Ramadoss, alleged when speaking to reporters in Delhi after filing the complaint. The complaint has sought action against Dr. Anbumani and the EC, in addition to a CBI probe, he said.

‘False allegations’

Meanwhile, speaking to reporters in Chennai, PMK spokesperson K. Balu, a supporter of Dr. Anbumani, alleged that Mr. Mani was making false allegations. “The entire party cadre are disappointed by Mr. Mani’s action. There are demands being made that he should be sacked from the party’s primary membership. PMK’s disciplinary committee will meet soon and take action against Mr. Mani,” he added.
