Nuuk Brisk Review: An Air Fryer That Gets the Basics And Aesthetics Right

The newly launched Nuuk Brisk Air Fryer, priced at ₹8,999, has been sitting on my kitchen counter for a few days now, and honestly, I’m loving it way more than I expected to. A big reason is its red colour option, which is bold, modern, and instantly gives your kitchen a stylish pop. Unlike the usual black cuboid air fryers, the Brisk actually looks like something you’d want on display. But beyond aesthetics, it’s also turned out to be a genuinely good everyday cooking companion.
I tried making pizza, cutlets, and a couple of snacks, and the results were consistently good. The pizza got a crisp base without drying out the toppings, and the cutlets browned evenly with very little oil. The magic comes from Nuuk’s 360° rapid air circulation paired with a see-through viewing window, easily my favourite feature. You can watch the food cook in real time without pulling out the basket, which makes it easier to perfect textures and avoid overcooking (especially with things like fries, nuggets, or cheese-loaded items).

Another thing Nuuk has done right is the shift to a touch-control panel. It feels modern, responsive, and far sleeker than traditional knob-based air fryers. The presets are well thought out, and the temperature can go up to 200°C, making it versatile enough for everything from tikkas to baking. The digital interface also gives it more precision, you’re not just guessing timings and temperatures, which is great if you’re not a regular cook.
Inside, Nuuk uses a ceramic-coated non-stick basket, which is a pretty big deal at this price point. Ceramic offers more even heating than standard metal baskets and feels safer and more durable long term. After cooking multiple batches, the cleanup was ridiculously easy, the basket and grill plate both washed clean with almost no effort. No sticky residue, no staining, no scrubbing.
At 5.5 litres, the Brisk is spacious enough for small families, and despite the capacity, it doesn’t feel overly bulky. The see-through window also makes the unit feel lighter and more premium. Cooking times were fast, preheating was quick, and the noise levels were surprisingly low, something that many budget air fryers fail at.
Are there drawbacks? A few mild ones. The touch panel, while sleek, is sensitive to oily fingers, you’ll find yourself wiping it often. The appliance does take up some counter space, especially in smaller kitchens. And while the presets work well, I still found myself adjusting the time manually for Indian snacks. But none of these are actual deal-breakers, just small quirks.
Overall, the Nuuk Brisk Air Fryer brings together great design, modern features, a see-through window, ceramic coating, and genuinely good cooking performance at under ₹9,000, which is impressive. If you want an air fryer that looks aesthetic, cooks consistently well, and makes the whole process more intuitive and enjoyable, the Brisk is absolutely worth considering.
