Life term for two persons

A court here awarded on Wednesday life imprisonment to a man and his relative for murdering the man’s brother-in-law due to enmity.

According to prosecution, Muthukumaran, 31, of Ittamozhi near Thisaiyanvilai and his relative Kumar alias Muthukumar, 40, of Manappaadu near Tiruchendur in Thoothukudi district murdered Muthukumaran’s brother-in-law Durai Singh, 27, in 2015. The Thisaiyanvilai police arrested Muthukumaran and Muthukumar.

Fourth Additional Sessions Judge Kathiravan sentenced both Muthukumaran and Muthukumar to life imprisonment.
