Pukhraj Singh Gill produced a series of pars at the back-end to emerge the best Indian pro at joint seventh, along with amateur Ishaan Chawhan (67, 69), after the second round of the $500,000 Bharath Classic 2025 Gujarat tournament at the Kensville Golf Club here on Friday. Gill, tied second after the first day with a six-under 66, had a two-under 70 on the second day. Korean Wooyoung Cho, a gold medallist at the Hangzhou Asian Games, carded another 66 (12-under overall) to move into the lead ahead of compatriot Heemin Chang (64 and 69).

After the cut fell at two-over, 72 players will figure in the final two rounds during the weekend.

The inaugural $500,000 Bharath Classic is joint-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) Tour.
