Third-seeded American Coco Gauff will face 30th-seeded Canadian Leylah Fernandez while two-time former champion Naomi Osaka will be up against Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic.
In men’s singles, 10-time champion Novak Djokovic will play against 26th-seeded Czech Tomas Machac while third-seeded Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz will take on Portugal’s Nuno Borges.
India’s Rohan Bopanna will begin his mixed doubles campaign with China’s Zhang Shuai as the duo will face the Croatian-French pair of Ivan Dodig and Kristina Mladenovic.
