Bangladesh beats Nepal to win SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship 2025
Bangladesh beat Nepal 4-0 in a decisive fixture to clinch the SAFF Under-20 Women’s Championship 2025 title on Monday at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in Dhaka.
It was a must-win match for Nepal but Bangladesh fired on all cylinders to maintain an unbeaten campaign — winning all of its six matches.
In the reverse fixture, the host had scored a last-minute winner to pip Nepal 3-2.
Earlier in the day, Bhutan put five goals past Sri Lanka to end the campaign with six points. The Sri Lankans finished last in the four-team double round-robin group after they failed to win a match.
