BJP Mahila Morcha national president Vanathi Srinivasan on Friday (November 14, 2025) said the results of the Bihar Assembly election has conveyed an important message to poll-bound Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, West Bengal, and Assam, which will face elections next year.

Speaking to reporters at Kamalalayam, the party’s State unit headquarters in Chennai, Ms. Srinivasan said the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) remains a strong political force in Tamil Nadu and had begun preparations for the 2026 election. She said a few more parties were likely to join the alliance in the coming months.

Ms. Srinivasan said the Congress had moved far away from the people and needed to carry out introspection. According to her, women voters in large numbers had supported the NDA in Bihar and expressed optimism that women in Tamil Nadu, who were seeking a safe environment and opportunities for development, would also vote for their alliance in next year’s elections.
