Bike hits road divider, 2 killed on the spot

Two persons were killed when their motorcycle crashed into a road divider at Saroornagar on Sunday morning.

Gulla Madhu and Rama Krishna Harish, both 32, were travelling from LB Nagar towards Dilsukhnagar at about 6 a.m. when the rider lost control of the bike and hit the divider at Metro pillar number A1618.

Madhu was a resident of Mohan Nagar. Harish was an outsourced employee with the GHMC from Telephone Colony, Nagole.

“The impact threw both of them to the road, causing severe head injuries that killed them on the spot. The bodies were shifted to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem,” police said, adding that preliminary information points to high speed as the cause of accident.
