Blood donation camp organised in Madurai

Madurai City Round Table 99, Madurai City Ladies Circle 60 and Knights Bridge 299 organised a blood donation camp at TAG Annamalai Toyota, Madurai, in association with Bharathi Hospital, on Thursday. Chairman of Madurai City Round Table 99 Rajarathinam Ilankovan, in a press release, said through the initiative over 65 units of blood was collected in view of the growing need for blood availability in hospitals across Madurai. The aim was to create awareness of voluntary blood donation and encourage people to come forward for such social initiatives, he said.
