Chris Woakes comes out to bat with left arm in sling during ENG vs IND 5th Test
Chris Woakes came out to bat with his left arm in a sling during the fifth day of the fifth Test between England and India at The Oval in London on Monday.
Woakes had injured his left shoulder while fielding on the opening day of the match, following which the England and Wales Cricket Board said the all-rounder would take no further part in the match.
However, with England losing nine wickets in the second innings with 17 runs still needed to win, Woakes exhibited examplary courage when he walked out to bat on the final morning of the match.
