CISF Woman Head Constable Suicide: CISF woman head constable shoots self with service revolver at Delhi airport | India News

NEW DELHI: A woman head constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) posted at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport died by suicide on Friday in a washroom at Terminal 3 (T3) of the airport.
She used her service pistol to take her own life, according to Delhi Police.
A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) visited the scene and collected evidence. However, no suicide note was found at the site.
The body has been shifted to Safdarjung Hospital, where a postmortem examination is being conducted.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances that led to the officer’s death.
Further investigations are ongoing.
