Corrections and Clarifications — November 15, 2025

The Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) is conducted by the Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, and not the Labour Bureau, as mentioned in a report, “Rural employment down, urban joblessness up, finds government survey” (‘Business’ page, November 11, 2025).

A sentence in a report (November 13, 2025), “Kissinger rules out U.S. exit from U.N.” (Opinion page, ‘From the Archives – Fifty Years Ago, November 13, 1975), should have read: “Dr. Kissinger ruled out … that the United States should pull out of the U.N.”
