Netflix India on Monday (January 27) unveiled the trailer of the upcoming romantic comedy, Dhoom Dhaam, headlined by Yami Gautam Dhar and Pratik Gandhi. Directed by Rishab Seth, the film is set to premiere on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
The trailer begins to show Yami and Pratik as a newly-married couple, Koyal and Veer, whose wedding night turns chaotic when two gun men enter their room asking for a Charlie. A action-packed mystery thriller ensues.
“Dhoom Dhaam follows the story of newlyweds Koyal and Veer and their first night together takes an unexpected turn when a seemingly perfect evening unravels into a night full of deceptive identities, surprise guests and some seriously awkward situations. With mysterious goons hot on their trail and challenges around every corner, one question lingers in the air: Charlie kaun hai, aur sab log iske peeche kyun pade hain?” reads the logline from Netflix.

In a press release, Yami said that she thoroughly enjoyed playing Koyal. “She defies the usual ‘bride’ stereotypes without being brash or bullish or anything you have watched on screen before. I am sure a lot of girls today will connect with her. This film is a wild, unpredictable ride and I can’t wait for audiences to join us on this journey on Netflix this Valentine’s Day.”
Pratik said playing Veer was a refreshing experience. “I loved playing the role because it’s not your typical rom-com hero—he is relatable, vulnerable, and ends up in the most unexpected situations.”
Dhoom Dhaam is produced by Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, and Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.
