Provide facilities at Rockfort
Dindigul Rockfort, built by King Muthukrishna Naicker in 1605 and being maintained by the Archaeological Department, attracts a lot of visitors. They often carry plastic bottles, carry bags, and food items in plastic packaging, which are discarded in and around the fort, harming the environment. The Archaeological Department should take strict measures to prevent the use of plastic goods and enforce proper waste disposal practices. Installing instruction boards or flex banners with guidelines to protect the environment will be of further help. There are no drinking water facilities at the top of the fort. Setting up drinking water stations and waste bins at strategic locations will improve the visitor experience and help maintain cleanliness.

Give quality life jackets
In Ramanathapuram district, at the Pitchai Mooppan Valasai tourist spot near Ervadi, the life jackets given to boat passengers for pleasure ride in the sea is very old and damaged. This defeats the purpose for which they are used. Unless good quality life-jackets are issued to the tourists, there is a great risk in the boat ride for the passengers. I appeal to the Collector to take measures in this direction immediately.
