Hare Krishna Movement presents two gold ‘satagopams’ to Simhachalam Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple

The title ‘Vishwa Guru’ was conferred on A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of the Hare Krishna Movement, by the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on February 10 in recognition of his services as a Sanathana Dharma Prachara ambassador.
Padma Shri awardee and chairman of Hare Krishna Movement Madhu Pandit Dasa presented two gold ‘shatagopams’ to Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swami temple at Simhachalam, here, on Sunday (February 16), to commemorate the occasion. The ‘shatagopams’ were handed over to temple Assistant EO N. Ananda Rao in presence of Chief Priest Srinivasachary.
Srila Prabhupada was the only Acharya in modern times to have preached Lord’s glories all over the world and hence the title ‘Viswa Guru’ to Srila Prabhupada was most apt, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa of Hare Krishna Movement said. He mentioned that Srila Prabhupada had also introduced Lord Lakshmi Narasimha worship all over the world. Devotees of Hare Krishna Movement across the world daily perform arati and sankirtan to Lord Narasimha as part of their daily Sadhana.
