IIT-Tirupati hosts orientation programme for B.Tech 2025 batch

Yuvantar B. Tech-2025 orientation programme was hosted by IIT-Tirupati for its incoming batch at the campus on Monday to familiarise the new students with the institute’s culture, academic framework, and facilities. Overall 254 students secured admissions this academic year.

Prof. K.N. Satyanarayana, Director of IIT-Tirupati, welcomed the students and provided an overview of the institute’s achievements while highlighting its strengths. Prof. Rama Krishna Gorthi, Dean of Academic Affairs, explained the academic ordinances and regulations, ensuring students understood the expectations and requirements.

Speaking about the college life and student facilities, Prof. N.N. Murthy, Dean of Student Affairs, shared insights on extracurricular opportunities available at the institute. During an interaction session, the director and deans engaged with parents and students, addressing their queries and concerns. The programme marked the beginning of a new academic journey for the students.
