India Under-19 squad for Asia Cup: Ayush Mhatre named captain, Vaibhav Suryavanshi included


The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced the Under-19 side for the Asia Cup, which will be played in the United Arab Emirates from December 12 to 21.

Chennai Super Kings batter Ayush Mhatre will lead the 15-member side, which also includes Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Vihaan Malhotra. India will face Pakistan in the group stage on December 14 at the ICC Academy in Dubai.

The Asia Cup will be a major preparatory tournament ahead of the Under-19 ODI World Cup in 2026.
