Indians in County Championship 2025: Sai Kishore picks five-wicket haul for Surrey
Tamil Nadu’s left arm orthodox spinner R. Sai Kishore picked a five-wicket haul for Surrey in the County Championship match against Durham at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street on Thursday.
Sai Kishore had picked two wickets on the second day, and claimed Codi Yusuf, Bas de Leede and Matthew Potts on the third day to complete the fifer (5/72). He ended the match with seven wickets.
He now has 11 wickets from two games at an average of 24.
His exploits helped Surrey bundle out Durham for 344 runs, in turn keeping his side’s target to just 176 runs.
Tilak Varma and Yuzvendra Chahal are the other Indians in action in England’s first-class competition.
