Inter-school sports fest for kids with disabilities in Bengaluru on Nov 8

Anantha Academy for Special Education will host ‘Go Krida: Sports Ka Keeda’, an inter-school sports fest for children with disabilities, on November 8, from 8.30 a.m. at VIBGYOR High School, HSR Layout, Bengaluru.
The event celebrates inclusivity and sportsmanship among neurodiverse students through adaptive games such as the Medicinal Ball Throw, Bootcamp Challenge, Market Race, Relay, and Obstacle Races.
Participants will compete in three age groups and two categories — GDD/ID/DS and ASD/SLD/ADHD. A student-led yoga performance will add to the festivities.
Founder Sharmila Jois Vellal emphasised the academy’s mission to promote equality and empowerment through sports.
