Jagan Mohan Reddy to visit Anakapalli district on October 9

Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Anakapalli district on October 9 to inspect the ongoing construction works of the Government Medical College near Makavarapalem under Narsipatnam Assembly Constituency.

YSRCP Uttarandhra Regional Coordinator Kurasala Kannababu, former IT Minister and Anakapalli district YSRCP president Gudivada Amarnath, Visakhapatnam district YSRCP president K.K. Raju, and other YSRCP leaders visited the site to review the arrangements.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Kannababu alleged that the NDA government is attempting to privatise medical colleges across the State, a move that would make medical education inaccessible to the poor. He said that the YSRCP strongly opposes these attempts. “As part of this initiative, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit the medical college and highlight the issue. He will also announce the party’s next course of action,” he said.
