Man dies in road mishap in Arsikere taluk

A man from Bengaluru died on the spot and his grandfather suffered serious injuries when their car hit a concrete mixer vehicle near Banavara in Arsikere taluk of Hassan district on Thursday.

Hemanth, 23, a resident of Srinivasanagar in Bengaluru, who was at the wheel, died on the spot. His grandfather, Lakshmanaiah, suffered injuries.

The Banavara police reached the spot and shifted the injured person to a hospital at Arsikere.
