At least 9 dead, several injured in blast in Delhi

A high-intensity explosion in a slow-moving car outside the Red Fort in central Delhi left at least nine people dead and more than 20 injured on Monday (November 10, 2025), sparking a nationwide alert and a probe involving multiple agencies. A person in whose name the car was registered was detained in Gurugram, Haryana.

Bihar: Final phase polling in 122 seats will decide the fate of 1,302 candidates

The second and final phase of polling of the Bihar Assembly election in 122 Assembly constituencies spread across about 20 districts will take place on November 11, and 1,302 candidates are in the fray. Polling will also be held in Jharkhand’s Ghatshila, which is going to bypoll. According to data from the Election Commission of India (ECI), the polling will be held at 45,399 polling stations in Bihar — 5,326 of them in urban areas and 40,073 in rural areas.

2,900-kg IED-making material recovered, 7 arrested as J&K Police bust inter-State terror module

The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Police have busted an “inter-State and transnational terror module”, arrested seven people, and seized 2,900 kg of improvised explosive device (IED)-making material in the past 15 days, officials said on Monday. A Srinagar-based police spokesperson said the terror module was linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammed and the Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.

One family member arrested in minor girl’s rape case in Bengal

Hooghly Rural police arrested one person in connection with the rape case of a minor girl at Tarakeswar, near Kolkata, police said on Sunday (November 9, 2025). The minor was sleeping beside her grandmother on the road when she was abducted. The crime took place on Friday (November 7, 2025) night. According to the grandmother of the minor survivor, she was abducted around 4 a.m. in the night and was later found in a pool of blood near the Tarakeswar railway high drain the following afternoon on Saturday (November 8).
