National-level Lok Adalat in Coimbatore on March 8

Under orders of the National Legal Services Authority and guidance of the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, a national-level Lok Adalat is being organised on the premises of courts across the district on March 8 (Saturday).

Cheque bounce cases, bank loan, education loan, motor vehicle accident cases and criminal cases that could be compromised, civil rights, matrimonial disputes, partition, rental disputes would be taken up at the adalat. Cases resolved at the Lok Adalat have no provision for appeal. Special sittings are organised at the courts at the combined court complex, Mettuppalayam, Pollachi, Valparai, Sulur, Madukkarai and Annur.
