Nothing Expected To Unveil Budget-Friendly ‘Lite’ Or ‘T’ Series Smartphones

Nothing unveiled its first flagship product, the Phone (3), earlier this month in London. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s Nothing might soon expand its lineup with more affordable smartphones. The reports hint at a ‘Lite’ or ‘T’ branding and also suggest that the existing variants are underperforming in the market.
The London-based firm has to bring some budget offerings as its competitors such as Xiaomi and OnePlus follow the same strategy to boost their sales.

A well-known tipster claims that Carl Pei’s Nothing could bring a budget-friendly variant to the market as the mid-range and the premium devices aren’t doing well in the market. The newly launched Phone (3) has been priced at Rs 79,999 while the next best offering from the brand is available at a price tag of Rs 22,999.

Since the existing variants are underperforming, Nothing is planning to launch phones that are priced under Rs 20,000 in India. However, we don’t have information about the launch timeline yet.
Earlier this month, the London brand had unveiled the Phone (3) with a tag line of ‘true flagship’. It comes packed with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and features a 6.67 inch 1.5k AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the camera front, it has a 50 MP triple camera setup on the back and a 50 MP selfie camera. It runs on Android 15 based on Nothing OS 3.5 with an updated Glyph Matrix.
