NZ vs AUS Live Score, 3rd T20I: Toss delayed due to rain; New Zealand eyes series-levelling win
Hello and welcome to Sportstar’s LIVE coverage of the third T20I between New Zealand and Australia, being held at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.
TOSS
The toss has been delayed due to rain.
PREVIEW
New Zealand will hope the rain gods stay away and allow it to level the three-match series against Australia when the two sides meet in the third T20I at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Saturday.
After Australia won the series opener by six wickets, the second game was washed out due to rain on Friday, which meant the Aussies retained the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy.
The second T20I was initially declared a nine-over contest when wet weather delayed the start time by more than two hours. However, more rain arrived after Australia reached 16 for one in 2.1 overs, and the contest was eventually abandoned.
