‘One India through Digital India’ book released


A “One India through Digital India”, authored by Prof. Meka James Stephen, was formally released in New Delhi by Chief Justice of India (retired) B.R. Gavai at a special ceremony in the presence of senior dignitaries from the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, according to a press release.

Prof. Meka James Stephen who currently serves as the Chair Professor, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Chair, Andhra University said: “With an extensive body of work spanning digital governance, e-inclusion, and Ambedkarite studies, rare interdisciplinary insight were brought to this publication.”

Speaking at the launch, Chief Justice of India (retired) Gavai said that Digital India is not merely an administrative or technological undertaking—it is a constitutional instrument that can deepen democracy, expand social justice, and bridge long-standing socio-economic divides.
