One jackal found, three others at large; zoo officials on alert

After four jackals escaped from the National Zoological Park (NZP) in Delhi, officials on Sunday guided one of them back to its enclosure, while the other three remain at large. To capture the animals, the zoo has placed trap cages and deployed additional staff. “Teams have been sent out to bring the rest of the animals back into the enclosure,” an official said. Animal capture teams and security personnel have been alerted. The joint director of the NZP has been instructed to conduct an inquiry into the matter and submit a report, officials said.
