One-trip special train to operate between Bengaluru and Belagavi

In anticipation of extra rush of passengers during the Christmas season, South Western Railway will operate a one-trip special express train between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru and Belagavi, a release said.

Train No. 06503 SMVT Bengaluru–Belagavi Express Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 7 p.m. on December 24 and reach Belagavi at 8.25 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 06504 Belagavi–SMVT Bengaluru Express Special will leave Belagavi at 5.30 p.m. on December 28 and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 5 a.m. the following day.

En route, the train will stop at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa and Khanapur stations.

The special train will run with 23 coaches, comprising two AC 2-tier, three AC 3-tier, eleven Sleeper Class, five General Second Class, and two SLR/D coaches.
