OnePlus 13 Mini Expected To Launch In March: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 50MP Dual Camera Hinted

The OnePlus 13 Mini is rumored to be in development as a compact version of the OnePlus 13, featuring similar internal components. A recent tip suggests the device will have a bar-shaped rear camera module, unlike the circular design seen on its flagship counterpart, and will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Upon release, the OnePlus 13 Mini is expected to join the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R in the lineup.

This contradicts previous rumors from the same source that suggested a different rear camera configuration. The change in the camera unit design aligns with OnePlus’ plans to introduce a new design language in 2025, as confirmed by OnePlus industrial designer Hao Ran. The company is set to unveil several smartphones later this year with this updated design approach.
The OnePlus 13 Mini is anticipated to launch in March, though it remains unclear if the device will be released outside the Chinese market.
OnePlus 13 Mini Expected Specifications
Previous reports suggest that the OnePlus 13 Mini will feature a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED flat display with slim, uniform bezels. It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and housed in a glass body with a metal frame. Security features may include a short-focus in-screen fingerprint sensor.

For cameras, the phone is rumored to have a dual or triple setup, possibly featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 2x or 3x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. While it may be called the OnePlus 13 Mini, some reports suggest it could also launch as the OnePlus 13T.
