Oppo F31 Series Launching In India On Sept 15: Expected Specs And Pricing

Oppo has confirmed that the F31 series will launch in India next week, introducing a new lineup under its popular F-Series. The series is rumored to include three models — Oppo F31 5G, Oppo F31 Pro 5G, and Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G. Marketed as the “Durable Champion,” the upcoming smartphones are expected to highlight durability as their key selling point, alongside Oppo’s usual mix of style and performance.

Oppo has officially confirmed that the Oppo F31 series will launch in India on September 15 at 12pm IST. Positioned as a mid-range lineup, it will succeed the Oppo F29 series, which debuted in March this year. The announcement was made via a post on X (formerly Twitter), setting the stage for Oppo’s next big entry in the Indian smartphone market.

Pricing leaks suggest that the Oppo F31 5G could start at under ₹20,000, making it more affordable than the F29, which launched at ₹23,999 for the base variant. Meanwhile, the Oppo F31 Pro 5G is expected to come in under ₹30,000, and the top-end Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G could be priced below ₹35,000. Notably, this would be the first time Oppo is introducing a “Pro Plus” model in the F-series lineup.

In terms of features, durability appears to be a key focus. The Oppo F31 series is rumoured to debut with triple IP ratings, IP66, IP68, and IP69, for dust and water resistance. All models are tipped to feature a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, along with a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. Another standout upgrade is the inclusion of a massive 7,000mAh battery, which could set the series apart in the mid-range category.

Design-wise, Oppo seems to be giving each model a unique look. The Oppo F31 5G may come with a square camera module in Blue, Green, and Red colour options. The Oppo F31 Pro 5G could sport a squircle-shaped rear camera module with Gold and Grey finishes. The top-end Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G is expected to feature a circular rear camera unit and come in Blue, Pink, and White colours.
