Question paper leak: HC directs petitioner to appear before probe team

The Kerala High Court has directed M.S. Shuhaib, CEO and founder of MS Solutions who has been charged with allegedly leaking Class 10 question papers for the Onam and Christmas exams through his YouTube channel, to appear before the police probe team on February 22.

This was after he submitted an anticipatory bail plea. His counsel contended that he could not explain the details of the issue to the police because of the threat of arrest and added that he could explain how he selected the questions, if he was given a chance.

The court directed the investigating officer to record the statement of the accused and file a report explaining whether a custodial interrogation of the accused was necessary.

In his petition, Mr. Shuhaib said he was implicated as an accused without any basis and that teaching and coaching centres published the probable questions.
