The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is set to be one of the slimmest premium smartphones on the market. Following its controlled demo at Galaxy Unpacked in January, anticipation for its launch has been growing. A new report now confirms the previously rumored launch timeline, and it’s just around the corner.
Tipster Max Jambor suggests the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is set for a global launch in April, possibly on April 16, with sales starting in May 2025. Tipster Abhishek Yadav hopes the Edge model will launch in India simultaneously with the global release. Samsung is expected to produce 40,000 units initially, with potential production increases based on demand.

The price of the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to fall between the standard S25 and the Ultra model. The Galaxy S25 starts at Rs 80,999, while the S25 Ultra is priced at Rs 1,29,999.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge could be notably slim at 6.4mm thick, making it slimmer than the standard S25’s 7.2mm. It may also weigh less than the S25’s 162 grams. The phone could feature flat edges and an oblong-shaped camera island, adding to its sleek profile.

In terms of cameras, the S25 Edge is expected to include a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens, though it may omit the telephoto lenses found in other models to maintain its slim design. The device could house the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, just like its S25 family counterparts, and come equipped with 12GB of RAM, offering comparable power to the other models.
The S25 Edge may feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and up to 2,600 nits of brightness. It could pack a 3,900mAh battery with 25W charging support and come in black, silver, and light blue color variants.
