The Sri Sathya Sai district police on Sunday (November 30, 2035) conducted a series of counselling sessions for repeat offenders and rowdy-sheeters as per the police records at all circles and police station limits.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar said that orders were being issued to enforce stringent monitoring of individuals involved in harassment, assault, kidnapping, and other offences targeting women and girls.
He said that as part of the intensive crackdown on crimes against women, police officers summoned known offenders to the area police stations and counselled them to reform and maintain good behaviour.
The SP warned that stalking of college and school girls, indecent conduct, and any form of sexual harassment will invite immediate and strict action. He said police units will maintain close surveillance on habitual offenders, reopen rowdy-sheets where necessary, and ensure that repeat offenders face tough legal consequences.
Mr. Satish Kumar said that officers across all subdivisions had cautioned offenders that continued criminal activity would not be tolerated and urged them to stay away from unlawful behaviour.
