The Delhi Traffic Police, in collaboration with the Delhi Legal Services Authority (DLSA), will conduct a special Lok Adalat on November 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. across seven court complexes in the capital, enabling traffic violators to settle their pending traffic challans and avoid prolonged legal proceedings.
The authorities advised motorists to obtain their challans at the earliest, as there is a cap of 2 lakh overall challans and a daily limit of 50,000 downloadable challans. The facility for downloading challans will be available on the Delhi Traffic police website starting Monday at 10 a.m.
The Lok Adalat will take up the pending challan cases that were forwarded to the virtual court on or before July 31 this year.
