The Solapur Division of Central Railway has announced a set of special trains between Pune and Bengaluru to clear the heavy rush of passengers. The services, operating in both directions over the weekend, will run via key stations in the Solapur–Kalaburagi–Guntakal section.

According to the schedule, Train No. 01413 Pune–Bengaluru Special will leave Pune at 7 p.m. on December 6 and reach KSR Bengaluru at 11.15 a.m. the following day. In its return direction, Train No. 01414, will depart KSR Bengaluru at 1 p.m. on December 7 and arrive in Pune at 5 a.m. the next morning. The trains will halt at Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Yelahanka and Bengaluru Cantonment, and will consist of 16 AC three-tier coaches and two generator-equipped brake vans.

The second set of services includes Train No. 06263 Bengaluru–Pune Special, departing KSR Bengaluru at 7.30 p.m. on December 7 and reaching Pune at 2.30 p.m. the next day, and Train No. 06264 Pune–Bengaluru Special, leaving Pune at 3.30 p.m. on December 8 and arriving at Bengaluru Cantonment at 9.30 a.m. the next day. These trains will run via Daund, Kurduvadi, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Shahabad, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Yelahanka and Bengaluru Cantonment. Their composition includes AC II-tier, AC III-tier, sleeper, and general second-class coaches.

Reservations for these special trains, available on special charges, can be made at all computerised reservation centres and through www.irctc.co.in. Unreserved tickets may be booked at station counters or through the UTS mobile app. The Railways has advised passengers to check detailed timings through the NTES app or the enquiry portal.
