Stalin, Palaniswami greet Ilaiyaraaja ahead of his birthday on June 3

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Monday (June 2, 2025) extended birthday wishes to music director and ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja, who was born on June 3, 1943.

In his birthday message, Mr. Stalin said he was one of the crores of Mr. Ilaiyaraaja’s fans keenly awaiting the performance of his symphony in Tamil Nadu on August 2 this year.

Mr. Palaniswami, in his message, extended birthday greetings to Mr. Ilaiyaraaja, whose music, he said, is intertwined with the hearts of Tamil music lovers.
