Student dies in road accident

A 19-year-old student, Sumaya, died in a road accident near the Kanaka Durga temple at Tadepalli village in Guntur district on Friday. A native of Rajupalem in Machilipatnam, she was pursuing BBA at SRM University. She died on the spot when a lorry hit her two-wheeler, said Tadepalli Circle Inspector P. Veerendra. A case has been registered and the police are trying to trace the lorry driver, the CI said.
