T.N. CM Stalin inaugurates new housing complex in Chennai

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, on Tuesday (December 2, 2025), inaugurated, through video conference from the Secretariat in Chennai, a new residential complex constructed for staff of the Stationery and Printing Department at Kamarajar Nagar in Tondiarpet.
According to a press release, the residential complex, comprising 96 dwelling units with modern amenities, was built at a cost of ₹39.3 crore following an announcement made in the Department’s 2022-23 demand for grants. Mr. Stalin inaugurated the seven-storey structure and handed over allotment orders to employees.
The Chief Minister also presented the Kalaignar Ezhuthukol Award for 2024 to T.E.R. Sukumar, managing editor, Daily Thanthi. Minister for Tamil Development, Information and Publicity M.P. Saminathan, Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam, and Secretary for Tamil Development and Information V. Rajaraman were among those present.
