Minister for Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh will participate in the ‘CII Big Picture Summit – 2025’, scheduled to be held at JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai, on December 1 and 2 on the theme ‘The AI Era – Bridging Creativity and Commerce.’
At the summit, being attended by members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), prominent leaders from the media and entertainment sectors from India and abroad and global investors, Mr. Durgesh will explain the new ‘Film Tourism Policy’ being formulated by the Andhra Pradesh government to strengthen the film industry in the State and will invite investors by highlighting the necessity of establishing international-standard film studios, dubbing theaters, and post-production units in the State.
In a statement on Sunday (November 30), the Minister said he would also elaborate on the incentives and subsidies offered by the government to those coming forward to establish industrial units in the State. “By showcasing A.P.’s historical structures and natural beauty on the silver screen, the State can achieve international recognition,” he said.
He said the goal is to transform the State into a creative hub known as ‘Andhra Valley’ and enable the State to contribute its share in leading the Indian media and entertainment sector towards the $100 billion target.
