Two youth killed in road accident in Urapakkam


Two youth were killed in a road accident in Urapakkam when the car they were travelling rammed a lorry. Three girl who were travelling in the vehicle were injured. The Traffic Investigation Wing, Guduvanchery, identified the victims as Thanesh Reddy and Mohammad, both aged 21 and hailing from Andhra Pradesh, who were third-year engineering students at a private college in Potheri. Three of their friends from Andhra Pradesh had come to visit. When the five of them were heading to Tambaram in the car driven by Thanesh early on Thursday, a lorry in front of them stopped suddenly. Though Thanesh tried to apply the brakes, the car rammed the lorry.
