If we look at their predecessors, we can get an idea of what to expect. The Vivo T3x 5G, launched in India in April 2024, packed a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, a massive 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging, and an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. It also featured a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The 6.72-inch 120Hz full-HD LCD display made for a smooth viewing experience, and the phone ran on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14.
Similarly, the Vivo Y58 5G, which launched in June 2024, came with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, along with a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD display and the same 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It shared similar camera specs and build quality with the T3x, and also ran on Funtouch OS 14.
As for pricing, the Vivo T3x 5G was launched at a very competitive price. The 4GB + 128GB model was priced at Rs. 13,499, while the 6GB and 8GB versions were available for Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,499, respectively. The Vivo Y58 5G, which initially launched at Rs. 19,499 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, saw a price drop to Rs. 18,499.
With the arrival of the Vivo T4x 5G and Vivo Y59 5G, we can expect similar pricing, with potential improvements in areas like the camera, processing power, and display quality. Vivo’s commitment to offering feature-packed smartphones at affordable prices means these new models could be a solid choice for those looking for budget-friendly 5G options. As their launch approaches, these devices could make a big splash in India’s mid-range smartphone market.
