Voters must exercise extreme caution while casting their votes in the Krishna, Guntur Graduate MLC elections, said Bapatla District Collector and Election Officer G. Venkata Murali. On Tuesday (February 18), he released pamphlets published by the Election Watch at the Collectorate regarding the voting process.

He explained that if voters fail to cast their first-preference vote, or if they write the numbers in words instead of numerals, their vote will be considered invalid. Similarly, if a voter marks both 1 and 2 in front of the same candidate, that vote will also be invalid. He emphasized that only the violet-colored sketch pen provided by polling officials should be used to mark numbers.

District Revenue Officer (DRO) and Assistant Returning Officer Gangadhar Goud, along with Election Watch District Convener P.C. Sai Babu, participated in the event.
