The World Bank mentioned Tuesday that it accredited $12 billion for creating nations to finance the acquisition and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines, assessments and coverings.
The financing, geared toward supporting vaccination of as much as a billion folks, “is part of an overall World Bank Group (WBG) package of up to $160 billion through June 2021 to help developing countries fight the COVID-19 pandemic,” the financial institution mentioned in an announcement.
