India pacer Kranti Gaud has been resigned by UP Warriorz for Rs. 50 lakh at the WPL Auction 2026.

DC came in late with the lone bid. UP Warriorz promptly used the RTM. DC declined to counter, and Warriorz secured its pacer back at the base price.

Kranti announced herself on the global stage during India’s 2025 ODI World Cup campaign, most memorably in the high-pressure clash against Pakistan. In just the team’s second match of the tournament, she delivered a match-defining spell of 3 for 20 in 10 overs, helping bowl Pakistan out for 159 and earning the Player of the Match award. She finished the World Cup with nine wickets from eight matches, underlining her consistency and control on the biggest stage.

Her rise began earlier in 2024 at the domestic level, when she caught the selectors’ attention with a decisive four-wicket haul in the final of the Women’s Senior One Day Trophy against Bengal, conceding runs at just 2.77 an over. That performance earned her the Player of the Match award and soon after, a contract with the UP Warriorz in the WPL.

Kranti made her India debut on May 11, 2025, in the final of the Tri-Series against Sri Lanka in Colombo. Two months later, on her first tour of England, she produced career-defining figures of 6 for 52, sealing her place in the World Cup squad and marking herself out as one of India’s most promising young pacers.
